The concept of a Snack Pouch was born from the observations of the inventor. When in a works canteen/rest area he saw a fellow employee heating a packet of rice in a microwave oven, after the product was heated the employee took it from the oven and began dispensing the contents onto a plate.

The inventor then asked himself a question “why are so many food products dispensed from a pouch and not consumed from it?”

This was the moment when the Snack Pouch concept was created in the mind of its inventor.

After many months this thought never left the mind of the inventor and so, he then decided to investigate this issue. He discovered that a food product could be consumed direct  from a pouch, however with the assistance of an appropriate (e.g. in length) utensil. This was the “eureka” moment. And so, after a number of prototypes the Snack pouch product packaging was born.
